:( :( :(

ARGH! Computer problems again! I'm not even going to spout hatred for the TWO computers that I've had to return in the past year because I know it has something to do me. I have ZERO luck when it comes to anything that needs to be plugged in. As soon as it comes into this house, if it's electronic, it will begin a slow death that will cause much headache and frustration. When will my luck change??!!

Found out last week that my laptop needed to be sent away for a complete replacement. In waiting for my husband to get home and help me burn all my info onto a disk, it crashed again. And now it needs to be taken in to see a *genius* (don't even get me started there) to hopefully salvage said info before I can ship it. So anyway, all this is going to postpone the contest just a bit. I've been having to approve each comment before it gets posted and I know that with the latest computer fiasco I've probably missed a few. I want to make sure that everyone gets counted and has a chance to win. I'll include all comments up to the point that all this gets figured out, so keep them coming :). I'm so sorry for the trouble but I promise that I'll make sure the prize is worth it!

Thank you so much to those who made it over to The Loopy Ewe for the batch of yarntini that I sent Sheri. I can't believe how fast everything flew out of there! I'm not sure when I'll be able to send her more yarn but if I do, I sure hope it's soon! Sheri is really fantastic, carries a great selection of sock yarn and accessories, and most importantly, has amazing customer service!

I'll keep you updated on the computer/contest situation. It's been really great reading all the comments and getting an idea of what everyone else managed to accomplish for the holidays. And for those who chose not to knit anything for gifts, please don't feel bad. Knitting is supposed to be fun not a chore! Knit (or crochet) what makes you happy and it's all good :).

i hope your computer problems get better! too bad you're not in ohio, i would have volunteered my fiance!

I hate hate computer problems. One time I somehow got infected with this virus/worm thingy that killed my harddrive. I had to buy at whole new hard drive cause they couldn't kill the darn thing. So I feel your pain and hopefully they can fix it fast.

I cannot believe I missed the Loopy Ewe stuff. By the time I checked my email it was sold out. :(

I totally agree with you about Sheri and the Loopy Ewe....she is just and awesome person to deal with! and her yarn selection totally rocks!

Good luck with the computer woes - hope they're over soon. (they and car problems - shudder)

Kudos on selling out at Loopy Ewe!

Computers are the anti-christ! My husband luckily for me - is like a computer geek - I refuse to learn anything - too much information:) My "hard drive" (brain) will not allow in any more useless info - if I learned computers I figure he would have to learn laundry or something - a swap he doesn't want either:) It's a good symbiotic relationship!! Good luck with that beastie!

oh no! hopefully the electronic gods will smile down on you for once! technology - that double edged sword - love it and hate it!

Hi...I've just discovered you and (yartini)- such beautiful colors. How do I buy some of the cherry cordial colorway and other offerings? Is The Loopy Ewe one of your outlets? I'm very interested in the sock pattern which you show being knitted from the toe as the beginning. I've done many pairs but always from the cuff as the starting point. How do I connect with The Loopy Ewe? Thanks for your help when you have time. JF

I hope you're up and running again soon. I can't imagine not having access to my computer - even if it's just for email, I feel less connected the few times ours has "had a fit". I recently placed my first order with Sherry, and I was really happy with the service and selection she has - like I needed more yarn :)!

just found your blog and wanted to say how amazing your yarn is. i was lucky enough to receive a skein as a gift from a friend and now i am on the lookout to get my hands on some of the vintage colorway - that is gorgeous!!

Hope your computer troubles are done with soon. I adore your vintage and cherry cordial colorways - must get my hands on some!
