ETSY SHOP UPDATE!
Holy cow, that took FOREVER! It seems like everything is running slow today, Etsy.... Moveable Type.... me.... Anyway, the shop is updated with lots of new goodies. I had wanted to post on here before doing the update but that just wasn't happening. In the shop you'll find a bunch of variegateds and new semi-solids, along with a couple of new base yarns. There are two skeins of worsted weight that would be great for last minute quick scarves and hat sets. And I finally found a merino/tencel blend fingering weight that I LOVE! It shimmers like silk and knits up sooooo soft. I've started a sock in the cherry cordial colorway but I think it would love amazing as a lacy scarf.

If you are interested in any of our self-striping colorways, please let me know. I will mostly be doing those as special orders for the moment since it's been impossible to keep the shop stocked with them . The dyeing process is fairly time consuming and doing it this way will allow everyone to get exactly what they want. With the holidays coming (QUICKLY! AAH!) the turnaround time may be a little longer than usual but normally a special order will take about two weeks to ship. There are a few retail shops that will have the self-striping in stock between December and February and I'll be sure to keep you updated on that.

ETSY SHOP UPDATE!
I will be updating the shop in just a few minutes with these goodies plus a few others.
There are a couple of limited seasonal colorways along with new semi-solids. I really prefer a more solid color yarn when working with intricate patternwork, like Knitty's Pomotomus, and I've been wanting to dye some for quite a while. I hope everyone enjoys the new colorways as much as I do!
With all the special orders and new wholesale orders I've been working on, it's been hard finding time to knit. What is a girl to do? Call in the Imperial Garrison, that's what!

Etsy update change!
Unfortunately, due to crazy (but fantastic!) things going on at chez yarntini the Etsy shop update scheduled for today will have to be postponed. Keep an eye out for a much larger update with new variegated colorways around the first week of November!

ETSY SHOP UPDATE!
There will be a shop update today at 5:00pm est with lots of variegated sport in fig & plum, 4-8-15-16-23-42 and Project Runway sets. Keep an eye out later in the week for variegated fingering in the PR sets and Pink is the New Yarn. Don't forget the Project Runway finale is on tonight at 10pm! Team Laura!

PLS (Potential Lost Spoiler)!
Um wow.. I think it may be a drastic understatement to say that last night's Lost completely delivered. My jaw was on the floor the entire time. I definitely think that Lost has the best cold-opens of any show on tv. Every time they show the crash, especially from a vantage point that we haven't seen before, I get chills. And Ben/Henry is crazy creepy! I figured that we wouldn't be seeing much of anyone other than Sawyer, Kate and Jack so I wasn't disappointed that the story revolved around them at all. I can't wait to find out what's next! Tonight.... Grey's!!

TGIW(ednesday)!!!
WOOOOO HOOOOO! Wednesday's here!!!! Finally Lost is back! I don't want to spoil it for anyone who may still be catching up, but if this season is anything like the last, we're in for some crazy stuff! I can't wait to check out the newest cast members, but what I really want to see is more Desmond! And Sawyer.... and Sayid.....
Speaking of Lost....
I don't think I need to tell you what pattern this is, but I started it last night with some 4-8-15-16-23-42 variegated in the sport weight. I may have found the perfect combo of stitch count and needle size, because there's absolutely no pooling. It's done on US size 2 with 60 stitches and it's fitting like a glove. Well...a sock actually :).
In shop news....
A peek at what I'll be adding to the shop today at 5:00pm est. Clockwise from the top left.... "mimosa", "tequila sunrise", "4-8-15-16-23-42", and brand new is the Project Runway set, "Carry on" (solid blue half-skein for cuffs/heels/toes) and "Make it work" (full skein). They're all variegated, except for the solid blue. For now there will only be one PR set available but if there's interest I'll definitely dye some more up asap.

NEW BASE YARN!
First up in our new 80% superwash merino wool/ 20% nylon blend yarn is appletini! This stuff is so freaking soft and for those of you who like a little added strength in your socks, the nylon should do the trick. Check it out!

dude! at least it's not a dell!
We're having some computer issues here in yarntini land. Nothing major but for the time being I don't have access to my address book and I may not be receiving all of my emails. So, although I'm planning an Etsy shop update this week, I will not be able to send out an email to everyone that subscribes to the update alerts. I'm so sorry but I'm hoping that some of you read this and can check it out!
There won't be a specific time or day for the updates, I'm just planning on posting a few skeins at each time throughout the week. I can't wait to get these posted! Three new colorways (a little chocolate, melon and shabby chic) and couple of the most popular colors in a brand new wool/nylon blend fingering weight. If a colorway that you're interested in is sold out, just let me know and I can dye one up for you!
I should have my mac back around the middle of the week, so if you send an email and I don't get it in the mean time I'll be sure to get back to you asap. As much as a pain in the ass this is, I wouldn't trade my apple for a dell for anything!
Hoping to have some crafty news soon. I finshed up my crazy huge sewing project and Glee's been restarted in another yarn. Stay tuned for pics!

etsy update
The lemon drop, cosmo and hope are all headed into the Etsy shop at noon today. One of my faves, the black & gold (GO STEELERS!), is a special order for someone that will be working on her first socks! I'm so honored that she chose my yarn for her first sock adventure.
